Magnus is hosting a five day event for business and government executives at the Westin Times Square New York City, that provides a strategic procurement and e-auction curriculum, practitioner best practices from New York City Department of Education and Best Practice Industry Review and breakout sessions facilitated by Magnus United personnel.
- — The executive focused curriculum is proposed to provide the attendees with a complete understanding and fundamental working knowledge of best practices in the full cycle of strategic sourcing and e-Auctions. This seminar will cover the end-to-end scope of sourcing, including spend analysis, auction strategies, execution, award and procurement. The training includes classroom learning, interactive case study and hand on demonstrations.

Each participant will leave the training with a solid foundation of the following:

- — Develop e-auction pipeline to maximize savings based on ease of capture and level of risk
- — Understand elements of market dynamics (both commodity and supply base)
- — Articulate varying forms of auction strategies; sole source, multiple award, schedule award
- — Align sourcing auction strategies to market conditions; e.g. long term procurements supported with frequent spot buys; consolidation of freight shipments , end user needs; cross agency tenders
